Contact form DB – how to resolve “This site can’t be reached” when exporting to Excel

One of our clients has a number of contact forms on their website, each of which takes a different type of enquiry or booking. In order to manage these forms, we’ve set up their site to keep a copy of each form submission using the rather wonderful plugin, Contact form DB for Contact Form 7.

Recently, they’ve upgraded their hosting account and the result was that every time we tried to download a form, we’d receive a message like this:

To resolve this, all you need to do is add the ZIP module in your PHP version. To do this, you can either ask your host to do this for you (minimum version 5.5 ideally), or if you have access to your CPANEL hosting, do the following:

1. Login and find the icon that allows you to select the PHP version

 

2. Click to open, then find the “zip” option, tick it and save.

3. Try your download again and all should be well.
